PDP Slams Buhari Over Fake 5million Kano Vote Assurance

PDP Slams Buhari Over 5million Kano Vote Promise
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari not to expect any five million votes promised to him by Kano state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje.

The party’s spokesman, Kola Ologbondiyan stated this in a reaction to the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential rally which was held in Kano on Friday.

In a statement by issued by Ologbondiyan, the main opposition party described the promised five million votes as "A Waste Of Time".

The PDP further said that if indeed President Buhari is committed to a free and fair election, he ought to have cautioned the Kano State governor to stop making vain promises because the total numbers of voters registered in the state is not more than 5.5 million people.

He Said :-
“This promise is being made even in the scenario where President Buhari has since lost the support of the people of Kano state following his failure to fulfil even the littlest of the litany of promises he made to them during the 2015 campaigns.

The PDP said President Buhari must have received a shock of his life when he realized that his party, the All Progressives Congress, had to rent a crowd from neighbouring Niger Republic to fill his rally in Kano after the campaign organizers  could not mobilize enough supporters from the ancient city to attend his rally.
