Man United Player Hits Injury Blow

Lingard, Martial Injury Blows for Manchester United

Manchester United could be without Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial after both players picked up injuries in the Champions League home defeat against Paris Saint-Germain last night.

English wonder kid "Jesse Lingard" pulled up shortly before half-time in the first leg of the last 16 tie at Old Trafford with what appeared to be a hamstring injury.

He played on after receiving treatment but was replaced by Alexis Sanchez during the first-half stoppage time.

Martial was injured earlier in the game and played on until the interval but did not reappear for the second half.
His place was taken by Juan Mata, who lacked in front of goal.

The game was goalless at the half time of the game, but Man United lost 2-0 in what was Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first defeat as United's caretaker manager.

Speaking after the game, Ole Gunnar said it was too early to say how long the pair would be out:
"You don't know, muscular injuries - hamstring, groin, so we'll have to have a couple of days to assess them."
